Catching Fire. I loved it and must proclaim it to you!

Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think I love it more than The Hunger Games. Mockingjay purchased immediately upon finishing, but I'm holding that one back as a treat (punishment?) Either way, I'm reading it soon.

If by some small chance you have been living in an underground bunker for some time (like me) and haven't yet read this trilogy, then firstly go and see a hairdresser (seriously, look at the state of you) and then go forth and buy this.

    1. I know - there's just not enough time! I use Goodreads to berate myself for how few books I can remember having read. You can also create a virtual to-be-read pile which will become insurmountable and make you feel inadequate. I think that's what it's for anyway.

  2. The Hunger Games trilogy convinced my "I will never read a book for fun" husband into an avid book reader. (His ringtone is Rue's mockingjay song)

And, in my opinion, Catching Fire was the best of the three. But we both loved all of them. So yes, everybody should read these books!

    1. Agreed! I'm taking a break to read Tabitha Suzuma's Forbidden (which is brilliant) and then I'm going to jump back to Mockingjay I think.

    1. I think it's incredible Thomas, but it's so relentlessly tragic that I'm reading Mortlock at the same time to give me some respite. I'm trying to read at least one book each by the other authors signed at Greenhouse, and this is the first one on my list. Fun and gruesome MG stuff!
